Personality : always smiling (but not in the image), she is always willing to help others. To the ones she likes, she'll be a crazy yet fun and very dirty minded pony. To the ones she dislikes, on the other hand, she'll be a cold, cruel and violent unicorn. She enjoys training, partying, drinking, metal and hard rock music, but doesn't hate any particular genre, adventure, playing video games and breaking the rules. When she sees a button, you can be sure she'll press it just to see what happens, especially if there is a "caution : do not touch" sign somewhere around it. She may appear silly, carefree or just childish, but it's her way to hide the fact that she has depression an anxiety. If she was honest with everypony, her answer to any question would be "I don't care, just leave me alone", but deep down she doesn't want anypony to think she's weak or needs help, and doesn't want to bother them as she thinks they have enough problems. She has a very unstable mental state due to her talent hurting her both mentally and physically when she uses it for too long, thus she is always tired and drinks dangerously high amounts of coffee and energy drinks to stay awake.

Story : Born in the town of Mareis, she lived in Prance until she discovered her talent for shadow control after reading about it in a book, and was sent to Celestia's School For Gifted Unicorns when she was 8 since her power was rare. Usually, unicorns try shadow control because they thinks it's cool, dark or just to try, but stop when they're bodies and spirits starts being damaged by their excessive use, and ponies born with these powers needs an extra training to learn how to control it. The other ponies used and continue to bully her for being from another country or having a strange, scary power. Knowing she was more powerful then them, they decided to pick on her and make her feel bad about herself. At first, she didn't get it, and decided to just ignore them. Buy, after days and weeks, and months and years they finally got what they wanted and made her attempt to run away. But where ? She had no friends or family at Equestria... So she stayed there, even with the others mocking her constantly. Now living in Canterlot, she could be a really good student if only she was trying, but she does only the minimum she can to stay there. She prefers partying, or training, or just going out at night, where everything is simply made out of her own element and where she can go everywhere, anywhere, and finally be free. She wears a quite unusual leather vest that has pockets larger on the inside, and carries around a lot of things : sewing needles, knives, smoke bombs and a mask. At night, she uses her power not to defend ponies but to have fun, attacking the guards and being chased by them all around the city. She got in trouble numerous times for that, but she couldn't care less as long as she feels free and can forget about her depression for an hour or so. That's what her talent is about : it's not just controlling a dangerous element, it's about living in the heart of the night, being the queen of the dark. The master of shadows.
Cutie Mark signification : the moon symbolizes night, obviously, and the black castle tower the almost royal powers she has over it and her total control of shadows. The heart inside it represents her strong love and passion for that specific kind of magic.
